A high capacity 10mm with a SS frame and slide.
Ok, here's something to think on. Let's say you get commissioned to design the perfect gun, semi-auto or revolver. It has to be something that doesn't currently exist (meaning don't just say the 1911). What would your perfect gun consist of?
A high capacity 10mm with a SS frame and slide.
a 357 sig semi auto based on the beretta 92fs action and frame. i love my beretta's reliability and workings, just wish i could get it in a beefier caliber like the 357 sig or even a 10mm
Lightweight auto loader, 4" barrel, 12-18 round capacity, ambidextrous, accurate between 3' and 150 yards, low recoil and power in the range of a 44 spcl to 41 Mag.
How's that?![]()

A 9mm, (cheap ammo prices) all stainless, close tolerances, optional sights, optional grips offered, 12-20 round minimum magazine capacity, single stack or double, and a factory optional trigger pull weight adjustment. All at an affordable price. Designed to order for you, primarily for precision range duty or competition use. Not conceal carry. Oh, and manufactured by SigSauer would be nice. What would your perfect gun consist of?![]()
I'd like a .357 Magnum Kel-tec 3AT sized steel mousegun.
My perfect gun will be available in the 23rd century - automatic target seeking, even when the user isn't pointing at it - will selectively destroy, disintegrate or stun the target - and will do so with a beam of light you can follow to the target. Oh, and it'll make a neat whirring sound...
The Phaser II.
I...can't...wait...until...it's...available.
Only way would be:
Fits the user's hands like it was made for them
Fires the round of their preference and can operate firing any load
Trigger and safety mechanisms operate exactly to user's preferences
Recoil is minimized in all calibers/loadings
Never needs cleaning nor repair, always functions never corrodes nor parts wear
Shape, size, barrel length change instantly to user's needs
Made in the USA of course.
And you see why it's futile and why so many pistols exist.
