Message is simply that there are many Kimbers around on this forum. Look in the 1911 section and you will find much discussion about Kimbers there.

The only model I've tried shot very accurately. It was like it was doing all the work for me. And it was the first time I've ever picked up a 1911. If they weren't out of my price range I'd have one.

You say your interested in the Smith M&P why not their 1911/.45s too? They are shooters and they work every time. I got two and they both work great. Know a few people who has them and they are sold on theirs also. Anyway good luck.
