Well, I've never shot a 10mm, unfortunately, so I can't offer any comments...![]()

I talked to 44SpecialDave in regard to the recoil of the 10mm in Fred (Dan Wesson Patriot Commander). His opinion is that the recoil is akin to firing a 357 Sig in the sub-compact Glock, that is no picnic in 44SpecialDave's book. Any comments are appreciated. Regards, Richard![]()

I had a G20 10mm Glock for a period of time and shot maybe 100 rds. through it. Recoil was not bad, in my opinion, no heavier than my 1911 .45's but just a little "snappier". I really hated to sell it but I had to in order to finance another project. Shot good and very flat. Hittin' the gong at 100 yds. 60% of the time. I've also shot my friends full size Witness in 10 mm. It's an all steel gun and it recoils even less. Ten mm is quite exhilarating to shoot!!!!

10mm isn't all that bad. I think .357 sig is much worse. In a Glock, it really helps to put in the titanium guide rod and stiffer recoil spring. But it's tolerable either way. Granted, mild loads are what I've had experience with, but I'm not afraid of the 10mm. I've been looking for one, myself....
There is absolutely no recoil in a 10mm! That’s my perceived answer.
