Im not gonna do it or anything, but what would happen if you shot a .357 Sig round out of a .40 S&W barrel?
I am just guessing here, but in a good quality pistol, probably not much other than splitting the mouth of the case open, a jam, and poor accuracy.
The case probably won't split just blow out to a straight walled 40, the action should cycle and the accuracy will suck.
Hypothetical speaking I think it would cause a drastic imploding of atomic particles causing a infinitesimal black hole which could possibly expeditiously aggrandize ingurgitate everything living into its vastness of nothing.
