I'm looking to buy a S&W Model 460 XVR Revolver - 8 3/8". If you see one can you tell me what they are asking for it? Here in Tyler Texas most of the gun stores have close because Gander Mountain opened and they have a great inventory but are very expensive. They want 1160 for the above gun. I think I'm going to have to wait for the next gun show in Dec or take a trip to Dallas. I like the idea of having three differant cals for one gun. The 460, 454 cas and 45 long colt. If you see what they are asking for one please let me know. Thanks
How does this round compare to the .500 Magnum? Thanks
Thanks Blastard I think I'll take a trip to the big city.
It a 460 mag compared to 500 but it shoots 3 differant rounds. i LIKE HAVING A PISTOL THAT i CAN RELOAD 3 ROUNDS FOR.
The .460 is also a flatter shooting round than the .500. Take your pick for grizzlies as they will both Git'r'Done.
Just be careful if you pick up a "Performance Center" model. Some of them have been recalled. It seems some of the PC models have been having issues with barrels. They'll inspect and replace them for free though. The standard models don't have that problem.
