Isn't that a Lorcin, or some other similiar terrible quality, POS gun? Trust me, U don't want one of those (don't think they are even made anymore).

If U want a small gun that can work, go buy a Keltec 2nd generation 32 or 380.

I got the 32 ACP version Keltec in Aug, and I love it. Super small gun.

If it's not a lorcin it might be that one raven? It's what is known as a Saturday Night Special, big name for junk. I wouldn't even try to shoot it.

Naw Gunut... If it was a Browning their name would be on it plus the pocket pistol they made many years ago looks different than that one. I think it's one of them Ravens that came thur the port of Miami some years ago. A lot of them got stolen and sold without the markings stamped on them.

I really do not recoganize this as to actual brand but I do recoganize the mechanism and how it is held together and disassembled.
No it is not a Browning but it has the Browning shape. note the moveable figure 8 shaped firing pin backer and connector between the slide and frame as first seen in the Italian Galesi 25 design and later the cheaper Sterling design and many since then. On this gun and others this part moves back on a metal rod releasing the slide. The Baby Browning slide is held like that but the connector does not come back to remove the slide from the frame. It is held solidly at the bottom, thus it is not a figure 8. to disassemble the Browning and copies the barrel is removed by turning it 90 degrees when the slide is back at a certain place. The cheap Raven, Davis, Lorcin, and others design use the firing pin spring to hold a free floating connector against the frame so that the gun is disassembled by pushing on the connector.

I'm pretty sure it is a Raven MP25. The takedown button on the rear of the frame is pretty distinctive. My dad has one and wants to give it to me, but I really don't want it. He bought it for $15 from a buddy at work a long time ago. It's pretty scary to shoot, the quality is very lacking, I would stick with your Tomcat, or a Kel-Tec sounds good, never shot one, but everyone else here thinks pretty highly of them.

Are there any other 'pocket' guns of good quality with the same trigger style? My Tomcat would be perfect if it wasn't for the pinching issue. A solid trigger would hopefully solve that.

Go to mouseguns.com they have a plethora of pocket guns to look through. I bet you could find a SA automatic there. Cough-don't buy a raven-cough. A baby browning 1908 would be cool, but they don't make them any more.

Someone posted pics of some old Colts that they had collected. They were 32s, I believe.

Except for a 1911, I don't think U will find a gun still being made with that style of trigger. I can tell by your comments that U are maybe looking for a similiar gun, but one that isn't a piece of junk. There isn't one being made now that is similiar to what is in the pic. And, as stated before - that particular gun is pretty much junk.

My ex-wife used to have a little Raven 22. Pretty much it was crap.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep looking. I definately don't want to buy a piece of junk. Hopefully I'll never need to use it, but if I do I want it to work.

It’s not a Raven. Here is a pic of mine. They do suck- wouldn’t trust the cheap safety. I’ve had mine about fifteen years but only have about 100 rounds through it.
