    Kimber KPD40

    Flipping thru the 2006 Kimber catalog, and passed by that KPD40 polymer gun again... Seems that Kimber has put this on the back burner or something. Itw as apparently around at the Shot Show in Jan, but not a peep since then. Anyone know anything about the delay?

    I have no interest in buying one... Just curious...

    Last I heard it will be "fall 2006." I wouldn't hold my breath.

    I handled one at SHOT. VERY trim/slim gun overall. Not-so-hot trigger. Low bore axis. Slim grip, suitable for smallish hands. Decent sights.

    If they fixed the silly DAO trigger, it would be a pretty good gun, assuming it's reliable.
