Wow, that is... interesting. I don't know why you would want that, not really any point when the MP-5 is already full auto. The most practical xtra weapon mount I have ever seen is a stockless shotgun under an M-16, Rem870 I think. I have also seen an Ithaca mounted the same way.

Gotta have a lot of money to afford all that ammo.

Now that's something I'd like to see. Haven't seen the mount on the market nor know the legality of it. I wouldn't mind picking up a M37 receiver for the project.

I do believe a shotgun with a barrel that short would get you a long vacation at club fed unless your in L.E.

Very true. I wonder how good for the rifle it is to have a shotty on it. You would whink the added weight and recoil would have some kind of effect.

It kicks a tad harder than a 12GA and I'm sure it's heavier than an M37 receiver. Could such a shotgun receiver be registered as a "pistol" since it'll never have a stock?

Well you can buy 410 shotshells for a 45LC so mebbe,have to check with our wonderful BATFE
