    Traded Glock for Sig

Happy camper I am. Traded a LNIB Glock 19 plus some cash for a Sig P229 SCT 9mm with threaded barrel, 8 mags, holster, regular and E2 grips.

That sounds like a really good deal (depending on the amount of cash, and the condition of the Sig). I've got a P229 too, and I really, really like it.

The gun is pristine and the nice part is all the replaced parts are included. This is important as I'm not sold yet on the E2 grips - they just feel odd to me. I also may put back the fiber optic front sight as the previous owner replaced it with a Sig NS and I like FO front sights. This pic was taken with a flush fit Mec-Gar mag in the gun...

I looked at getting the Sig M11A1 (which is practically the same gun as this w/o the threaded barrel) but settled on the HK VP9. It just fit my hand better, and I've become accustomed to the low bore axis of most striker fire pistols. The HK VP9 has the best trigger I've ever shot on a striker fire pistol, and the ergonomics are superior to any as well.

I love Sigs. My favorite Sig is the P226 MK25, but the close second is the P229 .40 cal. It is the smoothest shooting .40 IMHO.

I have a P229 in .40 and it is my favorite in that caliber as well...
