Looking to replace my X-5's stock grips with a set of Houge G-10's.

Is there a difference in the texture between the piranha, chain link, and checkered?? I'm assuming with a name like "Piranha" they must be the most aggressive. If so, that'll be what I order.

Will they help slim out the gun at all? Would be a help too.
