Trying Out A 4 Dot Sight Combination

Hey everyone, I was messing around with some nitesiters I bought and I thought about trying something new. I had a few extra dots left over so I put one in the middle of the rear sight with a little bit of it sticking out. I took it to the range today and noticed an immediate decrease in sight acquisition time. I don't know if I'll keep it, but I really like it so far. Has anyone else tried this or thought about trying it? It seems to be working really well for me at least. Kind of a combo of the standard 3 dot and the 2 dot I've seen on some Sigs. Here's a pic for reference.

Like I said, I don't know if I'll keep it but it seems to be helping me a lot right now with both my horizontal and vertical sight acquisition and alignment.

I wonder whether that third dot will end up confusing your eye, and cause you to focus upon the wrong dot.
    Please let us know.

I'm wondering the same thing as well. I'm going to the range again tomorrow and I'll have more time to shoot so I should get a better idea of how well it works for me. I'll report back.
