I wonder whether that third dot will end up confusing your eye, and cause you to focus upon the wrong dot.

Hey everyone, I was messing around with some nitesiters I bought and I thought about trying something new. I had a few extra dots left over so I put one in the middle of the rear sight with a little bit of it sticking out. I took it to the range today and noticed an immediate decrease in sight acquisition time. I don't know if I'll keep it, but I really like it so far. Has anyone else tried this or thought about trying it? It seems to be working really well for me at least. Kind of a combo of the standard 3 dot and the 2 dot I've seen on some Sigs. Here's a pic for reference.
Like I said, I don't know if I'll keep it but it seems to be helping me a lot right now with both my horizontal and vertical sight acquisition and alignment.
