new to the forum and handguns in need of advice
I recently picked up a 1953 star model f sport .22lr anyone got any info on these? Should I keep it? I got a guy wanting to trade a hipoint c9 for it but cant find anything on the star any advice appreciated
If the Star Model F is in good condition and operates properly in all respects, and if you want a .22 rimfire pistol, my suggestion is that you keep it. The Star is of better quality than a Hi-Point.
If you prefer a 9mm pistol, and can put up with a reliable, accurate gun that will not last very long, then I suppose that you could make the trade.
Hi-Point pistols are made of soft, non-ferrous, die-cast metal, and are not known for their longevity. People who own them say that they work well, though.
