    Question Model 27 Pistale?

    Can anyone help me identify and provide information for the pistol below?

    On the top of the receiver:
    BOMMISCME WAFFENFABRIK A. G. IN PRAG 24315

    On the left side (non-ejection side):
    Pistale Model 27 Kel. 7.65

    On the hand grip U over Z

    On the right side (ejection side):
    The slide within the ejection port has a bird (eagle?) with a swastika under the bird.

    On the frame and above the grip: The bird and under the bird Wa A76
    On the bottom of the clip is: P Mod. 27

    Yes, it's Czech, made in Prague.
    But the important part is the Nazi Waffenamt stamps (the eagle-and-swastika, and "Wa A76"). They may make it fairly valuable.

    At the beginning of WW2, it was one of the standard-issue pistols of the Czech Army. It fires the .32 ACP round.
    When Nazi Germany took over Czechoslovakia, they also took over the Czech arms industry, and made weapons for Germany. Your pistol was "substitute-standard" Wehrmacht issue.
    Since the gun's markings are mixed Czech and German, that may make it a transitional piece—at the moment of change-over, that is.

    It's probably rare, and it's clean and pristine.
