I see Shield's occasionally on Armslist.......
It sucks, the M&P Shield is nowhere to be found in my area nor online, that gun is quite a hit!!!!
So w/ my Xmas bonus I'm thinking about getting the Bodyguard 38. I love the BG380 i recently bought, which may have been the reason I am now interested in acquiring a revolver!
Anybody have a BG 38?

Changing my mind on this, does anyone have a .357 magnum? The LCR in my homestore has a .357 for a fantastic price, thinking about getting it instead.
Hi I got the lcp first and found that it was not reliable and very picky about ammo. I then decided to get the LCR357. I love it. However shooting a 357 load bites my palm even with the Hogue grip. Was advised to shoot Hornady HP with FTX in 38 special for Home Defense. That is now my first pick if there was any break in. Point and shoot and job will get done.
I have an LCR .357. It is a nice gun. I load mid range loads for for my wife to plink and practice with using Magnum cases to avoid ring around the collar. She carries it using .38+P.
Its been quite some time since I have shot a .357, I shot one out of a single action revolver of some type (I can't believe I don't remember) but it was a hellova wallop. The thought of adding a magnum to my collection though for around $400 is unavoidable and i think the way I am going.
The LCR 357 version does shoot .38s as well?
I have a Ruger GP100 and a SP101 they are both .357 magnums. I currently have them loaded with Gold Dot Personal Protection 125 gr. GDHP rounds. They both will shoot 38 special rounds. Normally at the range I will shoot mostly 38 Special rounds and mix in a couple of .357 rounds. The range I shoot at does not allow the shooting of magnum loads but they don't say anything if a couple get fired. I have not noticed a big difference in the recoil between the different rounds in the GP100 but in the SP101 there is a big difference.
