Is all 9MM pistol ammo called 9MM luger?
That is kinda like calling an adjustable wrench a Crescent wrench. Yes, but I believe the "official" term would be the 9mm Parabellum.Quote:

Not all 9m/m are for the 9m/m Luger/parabellum/Nato (it is actually the 9x19 m/m), the 9m/m also comers in 9x17 (.380 in the US) 9x18(or makarov), 9x21, 9x23, as well as several other less often seen variations. And no they are not interchangeable with one another.
