    Picked up a new toy

    A Sig X5

Picked it up for a great price. I was originally after a different version but it was too hard to pass up. Might have to get the other one later on.

The slide to frame fit as well as barrel lock up is very tight, little to no movement at all. The finish is top notch and the overall operation is silky smooth.
The DA and SA trigger are also very smooth and crisp.
The grip is a perfect fit with the Nill grips and points very naturally.

    Overall a very nice pistol

    Thanks

The P229 Sport was the first of my Sig's, found it tucked away at my dealers and have never seen another one here. Was lucky enough to find the P226 Sport earlier this year and again its the only one I've seen for sale here

Congratulations - the Sig P226 X5 is a fine gun.

I had the slide "lightened" on mine

These guns are in a class all by themselves IMHO

I hope you enjoy yours as much as Ive enjoyed mine.

    Thank you both

It's one of the good things (kinda the only good thing ) about getting old.

    I've collected guns forever.

And my wife likes guns and shoots too.

She actually buys me guns that she hears me say I want.

    I'm a lucky fellow.... yes I am.
