A friend of mine has been looking for a gun for a while and is not quite satisfied with anything he sees. He likes the look of my Scorpion, but I think it is mostly the color. He also liked the color of the green Springfield GI. He's a twenty-one-year-old farmer who is just looking for something to shoot at targets with. I'm almost certain he has no interest in concealed carry or any sort of competition shooting. Do you have any recommendations for a a full-sized, factory gun in a less than traditional color? Preferably in 9mm, .40, or .45, due to availability.
Thanks.
glock has some in o d green and brown and ruger some in green. sig has a variety of colors and designs on some models. these are scarce but can be found mostly on gunbroker.
Your friend must be well off, financially, because if he is just looking for something for target shooting, he could be spending alot less money...it's not like Sig's are cheap........
If he likes the way I looks he would prefer it. A Sig is definitely in his price range, he is 21 works on his family farm, has another job, lives at home, and has no girlfriend right now. I told him about the glocks and the xds, he didn't seem as interested in them. it may be because they are mostly 2 tone.
I'm just seeing if you guys can come up with anything I have missed.
