I thought I had shown my four Makarov pistols on this site but I was remiss. Well, here they are in a group photo. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy owning them. Regards, Richard
We probably would have guessed that!! :mrgreen:Shipwreck said:Like the hard chromed one
Try this site.Charlie said:Richard,
I've considered getting a Makarov because they were inexpensive and plentiful but I know nothing about them other than what I just read in your posts on the other thread (which are very informative). What type of ballistics does the 9x18 have ref. velocity and/or energy? I would guess they would be less than the 9x19 Luger. Do they ever convert these to the 9x19? What are the costs of getting a hard chrome job, etc.? Sorry for so many questions.
What approzimately would it cost to turn a plain jane Bulgie Mak into one like yours?Richard said:My Bulgie Mak with Hakan grips, Novak nite sites, and hard chrome by Virgil Tripp. The pistol has a carry bevel and the the sights were installed by Marianne Carniak of the Accurizer Gunshop in Troy, MI. regards, Richard
This is just a guess on my part but here goes: Novak Colt .380 nite sites installed $275, hard chrome by Tripp or Ford's Guns $150, Grips by Hakan $70. I guess my Bulgie Mak cost me about $650 but I feel having a one of a kind pistol is worth it.
