Thread: Shooters from NYC?

I'm from Westchester. Blue Mountain Range, which is public is a few miles from my house. I haven't shot there yet, still waiting for my permit approval, but others have had positive things to say about it, except for restrictions like being able to load only single round at a time into rifles. Master Class and supply in Orange county has also gotten some decent reviews.

Thanks for the website, friend. This looks immensely helpful. I'm in Queens so not too many options but at least if I look in a 30 mile radius I have a couple of options. When did you apply for your permit?

HOME at exit 71 on LIE

Yea I've read a little bit about Calverton. Do you know if you can bring random objects to shoot at there? Like watermelons and other things that look awesome when fired at? If not I'm good with paper targets but I've always wanted to shoot a coconut.
