Need help finding a guide rod

ok the low down, i got a taurus pt738 tcp .380 for my girlfriend. we went out shooting so she could try it out, all good and fun, after 100 rounds we called it a day. i proceded to strip the gun to show her how to clean it, then i noticed, the base of the guide rod was broken on one side. ok quick description of the rod, it looks alot like a nail without a point, and the head is where the break occured. now i have been scouring the internet looking for a replacement but I'm not finding anything. so where can i find one? i might not be finding the right website or whatever, but it remains the same, I'm not finding anything

Have you tried Taurus itself? It may be a warranteed item and they will send you a new one for free. What have you got to lose by contacting the manufacturer? However, I have not heard good things about their customer service.

Well I'm probably going to call tomorrow but I'm not gonna send off the gun for a guide rod and wait for them to finally send the gun back
