What's Hot and What's Not
I was told that some normal law abiding folks who belong to a certain organization were put on a "no buy list" for firearms by the government. So of course I had to go to Cabelas to try it out. It was just a nasty rumor and we are all still friends, but now I'm faced with another problem. I have to but another holster. What a life!! The real eye opener was seeing what was available. I actually went to several stores and found that the Glock 17's and 19's and the XD's in 9mm were all but gone. I found one CZ Rami and that was it. There were lots of S&W M&P's and a bunch of used ones that have been traded which leads me to believe that there was some buyers remorse there. Plenty of SIGs probably because of the price. Plenty of Berettas and Ruger centerfires and Taurus's. You could have Kimbers in most any flavor too. An eye opening experience for sure. Oh yes, I forgot to mention what I bought. I got a wonderful little Ruger SP-101 in 357 mag, with 4 inch barrel, adjustable fiberoptic sights and wood inlaid grips. Nice little "kit gun" as we used to call them.
