Proof that .40 caliber shooters are smarter than 9mm shooters!!

New York State (and I believe all other states) allow for car owners to purchase "vanity plates" with their own choice of letters/numbers.

So I went to the site and tried out a few combinations to see what had been taken.

9mm

Taken: GLOCK 17
Taken: GLOCK 19
Available: GLOCK 26
Taken: 9MM

.40 caliber:

Available: GLOCK 27
Available: GLOCK 23
Available: GLOCK 22
Available: 40 CAL

New York is a carry concealed only state. So this would sound like a really bad idea (unless it was a cop that got the plates).
