    New Taurus "Loaded" 1911 for under 500!

    So have you guys heard of this? So far it has got some very good reviews and for the price and having all the goodies! Damn! What do ya think?

    This months American Rifleman did an article on it.......its getting good reviews. Whe'll see how its longevity its.

    If this gun turns out to be a winner I will most likly be adding it to my collection. It is nice to have a 1911 with all the add on's for a good price.

    I believe the final release versions have checkering on the front strap and under the trigger guard - that isn't in those pre-release photos. I have seen some pics on the 1911 forum recently...

    Seems ok. Not as nice as some others, but not too bad. I have yet to see 1 in person, though...

    I had one in hand the other day. After I checked it over it looked and felt as good as any I have seen. It was heavy compared to mind but no more than my wifes. Fit and slide was tight. Price was $600. I said that's a little high. He said take or leave it, I left. I think you'll be able to get these for about $550 or under, if you shop around. Seems OK if you like this style of gun.
