38-.44 Auto Reset Target, Piece of shittt or can I use Lead in my guns

Amazon.com: Do-All Outdoors .38-.44 Auto Reset Target: Sports & Outdoors

Bought this thing today and went to the range

Immediately after reading the instructions I notice that it is only for "SOFT" ammunition???
The instructions said "no full metal jackets."

I was under the impression that Lead or soft ammunition are bad for Glocks, HKs, and most handguns, so i have refrained from buying anything other than FMJs or Hollow points... So I didn't use the target and am returning it tomorrow for something new. Wouldnt have gotten to set it up anyways, some douchebag DNR folks were "busy" on the range today and closed it down

So whats the REAL deal with Lead ammo and soft ammo anyways?

well i dont know why the product would be considered a "piece of shitt" because it calls for soft nose ammo....
its listed on the product features , item #3 "Engineered for soft-nosed .38- to .44-caliber pistol or rifle shooters"
seems like the product was pretty specific about its limitations......
maybe the guns are a "piece of shitt" if they dont shoot the right ammo????

I know like 0 people who shoot lead ammo, most people shoot FMJs or Hollow points, the manufactuer of this product was foolish to make a target for "soft" ammo IMO

this target was designed for "gunslinger" shooter , this would be guys who shoot revolvers and lever action rifles both of which function perfectly with soft lead ammo.

i guess the manufacturer didnt know that you dont know anyone who does cowboy action shooting, perhaps they will now remove it from the market till you meet some of the shooters they sell to???

in my not so humble opinion you bought an item that wasnt meant for the purpose you wanted it for. you either didnt read the product description or didnt comprehend it and now you label it a "piece of shitt" because it doesnt fit your needs. very immature
