    Beretta .45

    I just finished reading an older book by Nelson Demille [The Talbot Odessy' in which he had one of the characters carry a Beretta .45. The book was published in 1984 so it was probaby written in 1982 - 1983.

    What .45 was Beretta producing in those years?

    I believe the book was pure fiction, at least the part concerning one of the characters carrying a Beretta .45 in 1982-83. I beleive the first model that beretta made in 45 cal was the Cougar back in 1994 but i could be wrong.
