Trying to find info online about the firing pin FTF problem that I have just recently experienced is fruitless...so I will try a better way...here!
If anyone is familiar with the firing pin catch on the Daewoo DP51, chime in.
The failure to fire has been intermittent. Only recently have I had this problem after several thousand rounds.
After field stripping the slide and depressing the firing pin catch and then pushing on the back of the firing pin, I have found that it takes several tries to get the firing pin to move past the notch in the catch. It will then work once or twice and then not.
After ejecting the unfired round, I can see a small dimple in the primer, but not the typical dent.
Without removing the lock pin and pulling the firing pin, is there a way to overcome this problem?
