I wanted to get a pic of mine with Santa this year but he refused![]()
I'm new to the forum and guns in general. But I've noticed something pretty funny already. Lots of people post pictures of their guns on forums. That's cool. But I noticed that people take great care to make an aesthetically pleasing display. Whether they simply lay their guns on an artfully ruffled American flag, or arrange them nicely with their knives and sprinkle some bullets around (my favorite), I just get a kick out of the creativity and obvious pride people have in their collections. Always puts a smile on my face. I'm just waiting for someone to take their guns to JC Penney for a portrait sitting. Keep the handgun glamour shots coming! That's all!![]()

Sir,
I find your observations neither quick, nor funny. You seem to be casting somewhat tongue in cheek aspersions toward our more artistic men at arms. Since you admit being new to guns in general, I shall overlook this unwarranted maligning of those who take the time and effort to display their prized firearms for our enjoyment. You sir, are a man who would no doubt deny a peacock his very feathers! As penance for this affront, I suggest you take your firearm, (assuming you have one available), and send a "proper" photo posthaste for my enlightenment as to what is the correct manner in which firearms should be posted via the internet.

I read the first sentence and feared that I may have offended several dozen exceedingly well-armed people. After reading the rest of the post I feel a little safer now. A fine post you have there good Sir. I am wiping tears of laughter off my face as I type this reply. I shall do my best to clean up my modest gun and take "proper" photo. As I am generally lazy and excel at procrastination, it may be a while. But fear not, for I shall deliver the goods as promised.
EDIT: Best line: "You sir, are a man who would no doubt deny a peacock his very feathers!" Full of awesome!
