    When watching TV...

When you are watching TV do you find yourself trying to identify the pistols that are being used by the actors?

I never did that for revolvers, but I always have done that for pistols. It gets in the way of enjoying the show however. I have not figured a cure for this yet.

Yes, I try to determine make of pistol and also look at the grip of the actors to see how close they are to "real life". Some do very well. I must watch too much tv.

Yes, Now that I am familiar with different brands I find myself noticing what everyone is carrying.
Lots of sig's, glocks, S&W and Beretta 92 out there.

I watch for recoil - with studio guns you rarely see any recoil from being set up for blanks......

Yes, I always try to identify what kind of gun(s) the actors are using in the movies. I'm always curious and cant resist focusing on it for some reason.

+1 Although I would much rather have some of those magic cylinders for revolvers that fire up to 12 or 13 shots..

It is not the revolvers that you want; it is the super-speedloaders that they use that you want.
