How about a CZ83? Reputible company, accurate hand guns. They are usually trouble free.CZ 83 cal. 9 mm Browning, glossy blue (cal.380 AUTO) 91301
Still looking for a small gun for the "Boss"
She refuses to carry the S/W snubbie 38 to bulky, too heavy....OK, so?
She likes my Sig P380 but I kinda' think that the way to carry that, condition 1, would not be for her.
The Diamondback as a DAO would probably be better for her...
Keep in mind, this is So FL, she can't use a holster,so it must be in her purse....
I have been looking at the Seacamp, (hard to find) and others in the 10 12oz range
NO KELTEC's or RUGER..."I" don't like the way they shoot.

Why not an IWB conceal holster? I live in SE Texas and regularly carry my Bersa .380CC IWB while wearing shorts and a tank or tee. With the right holster, you won't even see it.
Diamondback has a site dedicated to their gun owners, (the name then talk) all one word then dot com. I have never read so people who own something wish they did not. There are a few that have good experiance, one who contributes to the posts here. After being there and the LGS guy told me he has sold 4 and all 4 have had to be UPSed back to Florida for repairs. I would not walk but run away from them. The Sig P238 is a great gun get her what she wants dont rule out so many guns for heer because you have a bias. Except the Kel Tecs thats not a good bias thats common sense.............
RCG
Taurus PT 111, nice 10 round 9mm that is comfortable to shoot, Taurus PT 709 is the same gun almost but single stack, like a big LCP. If you want higher quality go with a KAHR PM9
Must be small and light.....
I have one and they are just a pinch larger than a KT-P32. This is a very new gun company and they are going through growing pains. I have had a few problems with my gun, but they all seemed to be ammo problems. Some pistols are picky about what they shoot and DBs are no different.
They fit better in the hand than the KT and KT clones/copies. Felt recoil on my DB is less than the KT-P32 my brother has.
KT-P380 magazines work in the DB but I recommend them only for range use as they are not so easy to eject as the DB mags. The but of the DB is a little larger than the KT and the smaller base plate on the KT mag is harder to get and extract because of it.
All in all, I like my DB. Thats just me though.
How many times has she been to a range and fired any handguns? She may change her mind about the "small and light" requirement after putting a few rounds down-range. If you can get her to a place that rents handguns and let her fire a couple different ones, I bet she'll know real fast what style and size she wants. Letting her make a decision about her gun based on her experience might be wise. Good luck.
She has been to the range with me a dozen or so times, fired her 38 snubbie, a few of my 9mm's my Sig P 238, and 22 target guns...
The problem is that as much as I would like her to carry the snubbie, typical woman, says she will, then doesn't...
I am hoping that whe will actually carry the Diamondback...if not anyone want a DIAMONBACK, FIRED A FEW TIMES. then what....
Is her hang-up the particular firearm available to her or is she maybe not as convinced as you are that being armed is important? Hopefully it's just the gun and not the mindset. Let us know what you guys figure out.
