    STI model GP6-C

    I am considering purchasing an STI model GP6-C.

    I have not gotten to talk to STI directly yet.

    Can anyone tell me about the trigger on this particular "competition" model ?

    Does anyone know the factory pull weight setting of the trigger on this gun ?

    Also, how much pre-travel does this gun's trigger have before it fires in the single action mode ? I hate for a trigger on a gun to have to be moved substantially before it will fire. I really like the triggers on 1911 style pistols but the drawback with "most" 1911s is small round capacity.

    Would like to hear your positive and negative comments on this STI model.

    I am finding that this pistol has some type of rotary type barrel instead of the tilt lockup barrel mechanism that comes on many pistols.

    Can someone give me an explanation of how this rotary type barrel works/functions and is this a good thing as compared to the tilt type barrel found on many pistols ?
