I'm curious to hear about real-world experiences with the Chiappa, too. Massad Ayoob did a review earlier this year and he seemed to be somewhat impressed with the Chiappa. But I've also read some less-than-favorable comments from people, particularly about reliability (FTF, FTE) but also spotty finish application, a heavier trigger and remarks such as the safety being secured to the gun with a Phillips head screw. However, some reviews do seem to praise the gun for its accuracy

My local gun shop has a new and also a used Chiappa in stock right now. If I recall correctly, the Chiappas only started coming into the U.S. last fall, so it was a little surprising to see the used Chiappa in the case. I don't know how it ended up getting traded in or consigned after a relatively short time but I'd be curious to know.
