Question Number of rounds shot at one outing

Hi, I am a new member from Ohio and a new owner of a Sig SP 2022 9mm. I have searched and haven't found an answer. My question is: What would be the max number of rounds you would feel safe shooting at one outing, before the barrel might be damaged? I mostly use Win white box FMJ 115 gr rounds. The barrel got pretty hot yesterday after about 100 rounds in 20 mins.
I am pretty sure my 60 yr old hands & wrists will give out first. I am thinking about taking the neighbor sometimes and I'm sure we could shoot 200 - 300 rounds easily.

      Thanks,
      Earle

You wont live long enough!! My neighbor and I have shot 300 rounds each more than once with our 1911's...not EVERYTIME by no means...but dont fret over the ammo you shoot...especially WW Whitebox

BTW: WW White is what I shoot in my MP9c

I usually shoot 300 rounds of WWB each range session.
