I have been trying to find a good 22 auto and have been looking at the Browning buck mark micro standard URX. Does anyone have any experience with this gun? If so can you tell me anything about it, reliability, and accuracy, ect? I have put a link to the Browning web site below. Thanks

I say ditch the Browning idea and get a Ruger MKII. That's the best semi auto .22 handgun on earth in my oppinion.
I'm not a fan of the Ruger 22 myself. I looked at all of them recently - Unless U wanna spend a lot of cash on a S&W 41 (I think that's the model #) or the target Beretta, the Browning Buckmark and the S&W 22A seem to be the best 2 guns in that pricerange.
Ruger man that I am, I'd say the S&W Model 41 is furlongs ahead of whatever is in second place.
The Rugers are excellent pistols, no doubt about that. But the S&W is the only one made in the way the old Colts and High Standards were made. It is just simply a class act.

Yes, they are nice - but are also pricey - They are above the pricerange of a Buckmark. So, in the lower price range, the Buckmark is probably one of the better 22s. If I get a 22 eventually, it will probably be a Buckmark. I don't want to shell out $600-$800 for a 22

My favorite 22 pistol is the 4" Ruger MKI Standard model. Mine has been great and it ran me about $135 used in very good condition. Regards, Richard :D

I learned to shoot with the old ruger standard areally great gun I thenbought a 6 7/8" Mark 1 target Ruger. It shot better and had an infinately better trigger but was huge. When I found a match Target Colt in 4 1/2" I swapped in both rugers and some cash and had a real great shooter in a decent size. :smt116
Any of the Browning Buck Marks - there are at least 35 various models of this fine .22 handgun.

My two Ruger Mk II's, both 23 years old, have survived myself and my four kids. They have thrown enough bricks down-range to build a pretty good building!! Yet they are still as tight and accurate as when I bought them. Great guns!
