Have you ever held the 2 of them?both are good pistols but there is no comparison when you hold them both. The M&P wins hands down in that category, you cant get a better feeling pistol than the M&P, It gets my vote everytime.

The G21 is reliable, better capacity 13+1 and an all round good proven handgun. But it is big in width of slide and the grip. M&P and in particular the 45 version is getting some high marks from those who know what they are doing and actually have them. I think M&P Ergos are an improvment. In the case of the grip we get improved dimensions at the price of 3 rounds (10+1 capacity). Has some additional features such as interchangeable back straps, tool in the grip, a more contoured slide and frame, metal 3 dot sights, ambi slide release and optional ambi safety lever, unique for and aft slide serrations, etc. I think the M&P is more refined and reputation by most if not all accounts is excellent. Glock is a bit more rudimentary but their is no arguing it's reliability and capability. Both are excellent arms in my opinion. I don't think you can make a bad choice in terms of quality and performance so it becomes more about which one suites you best which is of course highly subjective and personal. Sounds like you have done the gun counter fondle test. All you can do now to break the tie is rent and shoot them both if you can. Good luck and hope that helps.
