A few thoughts crossed my mind One, some sort of law prohibiting imports of magazines. Two, strict licensing requirements to be allowed to ship and/or sell in NJ and it's not worth the pain for the companies. Three, companies don't want the hassle of learning all the ins and outs of states that have tight gun laws and don't want to face possible litigation for shipping a mag that may violate capacity laws or be for a prohibited gun. So they just say "No Shipping to _______". Again, just thoughts, no definitive answer.
That does make a lot of sense seeing as I couldn't even have a bb gun shipped directly to me. I had to use my in-laws address in NY as the ship to. Total pain in the ass.
There are companies that appear to be willing to ship mags to New Jersey as long as they are not over 15 rounds, for example Buds, CDNN, and Top Gun Supply.
Not to hi-jack your thread, but does anyone know if you can ship ammo direct to a NJ address?
I hate NJ - yes, I know, I need to move from this BS state...
Shipping live rounds is def not gonna happen. You can't buy them at a store without a visable verification of a valid ffl.
