The stock rear sights on my CZ75 BD have faded significantly, to the point that they inhibit the ability to aim the shot well. The front sight is still bright and easy to see. These are not night sights.
I thought that perhaps a little Hoppe's No. 9 applied with a qtip would do the trick, but it didn't. What can I do short of replacing the sights at the rear? Is there a less expensive solution?

Any kind of glossy enamel or lacquer type paint should do the trick. Use a toothpick or a very fine brush to repaint the old sights.

Testors Model paint in really bright colors.
Your Wife or Girl Friends nail polish.

Elaborate a bit. Did paint fade/wear off, blueing wear off or something else.
+1 on the Nitesiters. Cheap and they work better than paint.
