The PM9 is very easy to conceal. I'm slightly taller and heavier than you, and I carry mine more than any other pistol. It is reasonably accurate and of course very reliable. Also look at the CW9, which is about 1/2" longer/taller, but costs a lot less. Also look at the Walther PPS, and the Kel-Tec PF9, and the new Taurus "Slim" 9mm. If you don't mind a bit more weight, look at the older S&W 3913.

There's others to be sure, but I'm at work and can't immediately think of them....

I had a Kahr PM9...terrible pistol IMHO. Jam-o-matic. Gave up on it. Any company that states a "break-in-period" for full function spells trouble. Should work outta-the-box.

But I digress..there are many Kahr fans.

Anyhow, try a XD subcompact in 9mm. Light, small and reliable. Or spend more and get a Roughbaugh (sp) super small 9.

Since you already have a Glock 19 have you considered its little brother the Glock 26? I have a G19 as well and do have to dress around it a little, but I don't care. I like it. Good luck in your search.

All of the Kahrs are great guns, very reliable once broken in. They are built tight to help with accuracy, so it takes 200-300 rounds to smooth up the rails, etc. It takes a lot of practice to be any good with a small handgun, so you need to burn up those rounds anyway, before trusting your life to it.

Unfortunately, unless you decide to settle for a mouse-gun, you will always have to dress around your gun.

Thanks for the replies. To address the G26 and the XD subcompact, I dislike both. Both are a little to big and blocky for what I am looking for, and I really dislike how the G26 feels in my hand. I find both to be too fat for a subcompact.

Kahr PM9 works great for pocket carry or belt carry. I am 6' and 228. Walther PPS is a great gun for carry. Get a high ride holster (I use a Ross pancake with body shield for summer and a Mitch Rosen 5JR Pres for winter). I can conceal the PPS in the summer with just a darker colored tee shirt. I also love the kahr.

I will look into some of these suggestions.

I own and carry a Glock 26, and your right it's blocky / ugly to some ..... but a real nail driver to shoot.

If you'd consider a .380 (9mm short) - the Walther PPK / S, the Sig Sauer P230 or P232 are all 3 very nice guns and easy to conceal - they are deadly if you know how to shoot them.

Really only looking at 9mm. 380 is too expensive/hard to find.

I have a kel-tec PF9 and I can carry no problem in shorts and a tshirt.Not a range gun but great for CCW

I carry a Kahr E9 and love it. It is the full metal frame, and it is definitely heavier than the plastic Kahrs......but it still is easy to carry. Shoots very accurate!

I am down here in Florida, and I am in shorts everyday. I am 6'2" 190. The gun works great for me to carry!

Another recommendation for the PPS. And as mentioned above, finding a holster for them hasn't been the easiest. It doesn't seem like many make them specifically for the PPS.
