H&K USP 40 or EAA Witness 40 Help Decide
I am looking to add to my .40 collection of shootable handguns and have the opportunity to pick up one of these two guns. I have not shot either but both feel good in hand and are the right size. This will be a range/HD gun so no carry and weight issues apply. I really like 1911 style guns and want to have a thumb safety that mechanically moves in the same direction (down) as a 1911 and both of these guns fit the bill. The Witness has such a low bore axis, I'm thinking it'll be the better shooter than the DA/SA H&K but the H&K are known for good accuracy.
Witness: Shot only 20 rounds. LNIB condition. Comes with 2 mags. Total Cost $455
H&K: Round count unknown. Very little wear on the barrel where excessive use will show the black wearing off when the slide is closed. Night sites. 4 Mags. Total Cost $575
