I joined the dark side

Finally, after months and months of research and waiting for my birthday, i finally purchased my first gun. As much as i didnt want to, i had to go with the Glock 19... it just felt the best in my hand and i shot it the best. As my birthday was yesterday, i turned the permit in today, got the call it was ready in an hr ( i love my county :)) and haggled with the local dealer a little bit. I wanted 15 rd mags, and he only had 10, so he threw in 2 non factory 15 round mags for free. i cant wait to shoot it, hopefully sometime tonight :)

These pictures are pretty crappy, but they should do for now. I'll try to get some better ones up soon.:smt033

Sweet!!! I used to hate Glock too, because of mostly what people associated them with. Now I own 5 of them. Good luck with it.

I've never had any bad feelings toward Glock, I'm just usually one that tries to do things uniquely, as in what i use, shoes i wear, ect. and it seemed like everyone and their brother has a Glock, so I was a bit reluctant... but darn it if they don't shoot great!

congratulations..I got my Glock 17 just couple days back..What attracted me is the simplicity in design. I am still learning how to shoot it though..Coming from a DA/SA background needs some training to adjut to the Glock trigger..But I am getting their fast.

I like it I've been looking at the glock 19 for a while now hopefully sometime soon I can throw a nice down payment on one and put it in layaway
