    Bud's 45's

    Browsing Bud's Gunshop page for 1911 and spotted the Citadel and Double Star 1911's at quite reasonable prices.

    Double Star is the ssame company that makes the rifles and I believe Citadels are a Phillipine product.

    Anybody tried these? They might be nice for a third 45 to back up my SA 1911 and FNP-45. One can never have too many 45's.

    I have an AR made by Double star. I heard they were making a 1911 but have not seem one in the wild. I need to take a drive up to Buds and see these first hand.

    The (Double Star) AR I have is a real good one though. Groups really well at some pretty nice distances with good ammo
