Well after what seems like forever I finally ordered my first handgun. I decided to go with the Beretta PX4 9mm type F SA/DA With the 17rd factory mag. I feel relieved but I also won't be satisfied until it is finally here. Just thought I would let you all know!!!!!!

That's all it was. I fixed it!
Hey thanks a lot Todd...I'm not sure how I managed to screw that one up but I appreciate your fixin'. Also, Just to let everyone know, it will be a lil while before I can tell you how it shoots...I just ordered it from a tiny local shop on Monday. He said it would take a minimum of a few weeks to get in, and I will be making payments...I was planning on saving up to buy this gun, but the owner of the shop insisted that he order it now and I could give him 50, 100 at a time, whatever works. Of course he is a real old timer, grew up in this area of NW Ohio with my grandfather, and bought his first several guns from the local hardware store. Just talking to the guy made me realize how much things have changed over the years. One of the coolest guys I have ever met in my entire life. :)

The PX4 is a great choice, I don't mine slide mounted safetys, I have them on my 92FS and Jericho 941, I have never had a problem
I have only briefly held the PX4 for a short time, but it was uncommonly comfortable in my hand, and I don't think that the side mounted safety's will cause me any discomfort or dislike. It just felt natural to me.
