What 9mm ammo is considered best self defense load? I checked past threads, but couldn't find any.

That's because there is no "best". Any of the premium loads by the big-name manufacturers will do the job. Just make sure to buy a few boxes of whatever you choose to test it in your gun. A SD situation is not the time to find out your gun does not like the ammo you are feeding it.

ll handguns are different. You might know a guy that used one brand and it might be great in his but in yours it might trey to hang up or just not group as well as you think i should. It's best to get a box or so of a few and see what gives the best results. Feeding, grouping are much more important tan what expands best in a bunch of wet newspapers.
