I have a P95 and I will say it is fairly accurate, a smooth shooter, and totally reliable. Mine probably only has 6-700 rounds but has never failed.
I have been looking at a Ruger P95 for a gun to keep in my truck. I have searched these and other forums but can't find much comment on this gun. I would appreciate it if anyone could offer their opinions on this model.
Thanks in advance for the input.

From my experience with the P-series pistols, they are sturdy, reliable and a good buy. It would make an excellent truck gun.
Because you cannot guarantee that your truck will never get broken into, it's not a good idea to keep a firearm where unauthorized persons can get to it.

If not for the huge back order a couple months ago (when I was buying), I'd own a P95 right now.
The P95 is arguably the best value in 9mm autos out there. Pretty consistently everyone agrees that they're an accurate, solid, reliable weapon......for $300 to $350. You can't hardly beat that.
I've previously put rounds through a P89, and was happy with that gun as well.
Hopefully they've gotten ahead of they're back order issues, and you'll be able to find one at the appropriate retail price!
