Nice guns you've got there.

I just got my Springfield 1991-A1 milspec back from Springfield Armory, with new night sights installed. They are overall higher visibility than the milspec sights were, and they glow in the dark too.
I also took the grips from my Kimber Eclipse Pro II and put them on the Springfield. I have some slender grips on the Kimber anyway. Here are some photos. The last one is the Kimber with the slender grips. It came new with the night sights:

That Mil-spec model looks really good. One of those is definitely on my must have at some point list.
Matt, mine is about 12 years old now. I have seen the newer ones too and they seem commensurate. What I love about it is that the frame to slide fit is a little loose, like a milspec should be. The pistol has always been utterly reliable, yet accurate enough to shoot small groups at 25 yards.
My Kimber, pictured, is as tight as a drum. It is a superb pistol, but I do not trust it as I do the Springfield. I highly recommend Springfield 1911-A1 milspecs for their overall quality and reliablilty. The night sights are the only modification I have made to mine.
Great looking pistols Teuthis!
I do like those Trijicon sights too.

You have some fine pistols there. You will love those night sights. They sure make a difference don't they?It is comforting when you look across the room at night and know exactly where you weapon is too.
