Good people to work with and within the week you will have it.
Well, I've been going back and forth over the next gun to get. It's been between the 642 with CT lasergrips and the XD9 Subcompact. I went to my local shop today and the only thing I could rationally do is get them both. The 642 had to be ordered and won't be here till Tuesday so I'm gonna put off going to the range until then. Safe to say I'm excited about my next range trip. It's gonna be a good one.
Now I need info on good holsters for both guns. I plan to pocket carry the 642 and have been looking at the Desanti Nemisis for that purpose. Do you guys think this would be a good choice?
Then I'd like to get a good IWB holster for the XD. I'm a fat guy, no use sugar coating it and I'd like something as inconspicuous as possible. I do tuck my shirts on work days, but could untuck after hours. I figure the 642 would serve more as my work day gun and the XD for everything else.
Opinions on any of this would be great. Also, about the holsters, I'm not ready to spend $150 and wait a year just yet so mainly looking for stuff that's readily availble and reasonably priced.
Thanks in advance.
Matt

I am a fat guy (i prefer fluffy) and I conceal a firearm effectivly 7 days a week. I would be happy to help with a holster when the time comes.

I currently carry a S&W 640 in a DeSantis Nemesis and I am very happy with it. I will say that based on my recent experience with Bill at Galco, I would suggest you have a chat with him before buying anything. He seems to really know his stuff.
I am 6' 2" and 250 therefore sort of medium size and Galco's Summer Comfort holsters (IWB) serve me quite well for my M&P40 and GP100.
I have 2 IWB holsters. one a Bianchi 3S Pistol Pocket Holster and a Gould Gold Line Inside Pants Holster Model 810. both are 1911 holsters. I'm 5'9" and 235 lb. and both are easy for me to wear. I like the Gould a little better just because it has the two thinner belt straps and the Bianchi has one wide one making it a little easier to see.
I've read that these guys ship fairly quickly, and make a good IWB.

For a high quality holster about as quickly as you could get one, take a look at:

Lots of other good choices out there - enough to keep you busy researching for days. Some of the larger retailers like Natchez Shooter's Supply and others keep holsters from the larger makers like Galco and Bianchi in stock all the time.

I've been looking at the Crossbreed Supertuck as well as the M-tac. Of these two which would be best? Also, how do I get in touch with Bill at Galco.
My main concern is that with IWB my love handles will end up pushing the gun outward and cause printing. I'm also leaning more toward a 4:00 - 5:00 position that seems like the bulge would be less noticeable.
I'm also gonna need a good belt. Crossbreed has what appears to be a nice belt for $55. Anyone have experience with their belts. Also they have a velcro option for the belt, I've read the FAQs on their site and believe I comprehend the concept but pictures or reviews on that would be very helpful to ensure I understand what benefit that could offer.
I'm sure I'll be back and forth and new options will appear and dissappear, but I'd love to not have a drawer full of holsters I don't use.
A lot of people like the Comp-Tac MTAC. It's got a kydex body that you can remove and replace for a different gun. The backing against your skin is leather. I have one and really like it. I don't tuck, but people say that they do with this holster and it's one of the features they advertise about on their site.
