I traded my Nickle S&W Model 29-2 even for a Kimber Classic Stainless Target. My new Kimber looks very similar to the one in this photo. Why did I trade my M29-2? The answer is simple; if I shoot a lot of 44 Mag full loads I want it to be in my Ruger Super BlackHawk as it soaks up the recoil better than a S&W N-Frame and I shoot more 1911 45acps. I'm sure the Kimber is a nice pistol, but there is no way I'd trade a classic Smith for it. As long as you're happy, that's the important thing.

Please do not think that I am "Smithless" as I still have an 8 3/8" M29-3 and a 4" M629-2 plus a Virginia Dragoon in 44 Mag. Regards, Richard

your three pics are three of my favorite guns also which is on my wish list
the Ruger is the first however
