    Gun Show

Hey everyone! I am new to this forum as well as gun owenership. i am looking to buy and have narrowed down my "shopping list" mostly with the help of everyone on this list. Since I am now "looking to buy" as opposed to "shopping". is there any benifit to going to a local gun show (there is one coming soon locally) as opposed to finding a dealer and negociating my best deal with them.

what bargains are available at the gun show to offset the price of admission.

    John

I've only been to one gun show and walked out with my P-6. It was worth the price of admission ($5) for me.

It depends on your area. Here in the Iowa City area, the prices at gun shows are most often the same if not higher than local shops. The price of admission is worth it just to look around and handle as many guns as you can. It's usually only $5. Good luck!
