    I was thinking

    I was thinking of recoating my Para LDA Tac-Four. Do I go all matte black, black frame green slide, black slide green frame, or keep it as is?

    I've got a Para with the green finish also and I know it will need a refinish job at some point 'cause it seems to scratch easily. I don't even know what type of finish coating it is???? When mine gets refinished I'll probably go with some sort of black/blue finish. So my vote is all black.

    Some of the more "exotic" finishes look cool, but I've got a weakness for all black. That's my vote.

    If I were you, I'd swap it off for a Ruger Blackhawk .45 Colt/.45 ACP in blue, send it off to Doug Turnbull for case hardening, and have Cary Chapman make up a pair of handsome wood grips.

    Yep. That's what I'd do.
