Sold a couple from the estate of a fellow who died: a 9mm and a .22. Before I sold them, I thought it would be prudent and conscientious of me to take them to the range and test-fire them, so that I could assure the buyer they were in good functioning condition. They were. Worked just fine.

Not sure what you need 50-100 rounds of 9mm or .22 for. If you have fired 15 or 20 rounds, and you still have a problem, then you really have a problem. But, I suppose nobody who was ever in a gunfight has ever complained about having too much ammo.
