    Calico

This is one of the neatest guns I have ever seen. Don't know when I would use one though. Seems impractical. - maybe for re-loaders.

    Damn, I thought 17 was hi-cap.

They don't look that accurate though and they are on alot of “banned” lists.

Has anyone ever owned/fired one of these?

Those things are still around? I remember when they came out, early 90's IIRC, and I didn't think they'd last too long.

Guess I was wrong! First time for everything!

They're cheaper than a nice 1911. Did they work at all?

Lol. My 1911 was under $800 before tax...I think it's pretty nice.

Sold a couple from the estate of a fellow who died: a 9mm and a .22. Before I sold them, I thought it would be prudent and conscientious of me to take them to the range and test-fire them, so that I could assure the buyer they were in good functioning condition. They were. Worked just fine.

Not sure what you need 50-100 rounds of 9mm or .22 for. If you have fired 15 or 20 rounds, and you still have a problem, then you really have a problem. But, I suppose nobody who was ever in a gunfight has ever complained about having too much ammo.
